Today, if I had to describe Deservia to you in one sentence, I would say that it was born from my desire to share something I learned through living.
I'm Rebecca. I grew up in Italy, and over time I began to realise how many of the things we consider natural are actually the result of what we observe, the people we surround ourselves with, the experiences we live through, and the women and men who have been part of our lives.
I started asking myself why we should keep reading the same advice over and over again.
The same techniques and strategies.
The same "do this and he will do that" formulas and manuals that try to teach you how to attract attention without ever asking one fundamental question:
how can you truly stand out?
Before creating Deservia, I studied and analysed psychology, human behaviour, communication, body language and relationship dynamics to understand what truly influences the way we think, communicate and relate to one another.
To this knowledge, I added real experiences, relationships, mistakes and observations gathered over the years, including those shaped by the people who have been part of my life.
Italy is not simply what you see in photographs of the Dolce Vita.
It is attention to detail.
It is the way we present ourselves. The way we sit at the table, converse, dress, welcome someone, observe and allow ourselves to be observed.
It is that combination of naturalness, femininity, character and presence that is so often left unexplained.
And that is exactly what I want to bring beyond Italy.
Deservia is therefore born from the meeting point between experience, psychology, human behaviour and Italian culture.
